PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This prize draw is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland, and international participants aged 18 years or over. Proof of age, identity, and eligibility may be requested. Participants from outside these jurisdictions are responsible for ensuring that participation does not contravene local laws.

Entries must be submitted by completing the prize draw survey, which is publicly accessible online. Participants may discover the survey link through our website, our social media platforms (such as Instagram at @missjsews), or by being forwarded the link by others. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM BST on 31 July 2025. We reserve the right to extend the closing date and time if reasonably necessary. The draw will remain open for at least three working days.

Only one entry per person shall be accepted.

Late, illegible, incomplete, or corrupted entries will not be accepted. We accept no responsibility for participants being unable to access our website or for any technical issues that may cause entries to be delayed or lost. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt.

The winner will be chosen by us using a random draw or selection criteria (as outlined on our website). Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will be notified within 7 days of the closing date.

The winner’s name may be published on our website or in other media following the close of the draw.

The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

Events beyond our reasonable control may affect the operation of the prize draw or the awarding of the prize. In such cases, we reserve the right to amend or withdraw the promotion without liability.

If you win, you may be required to participate in promotional activity. By entering, you consent to the use of your name for publicity purposes.

By providing your contact information, you consent to receiving marketing emails and promotional materials from us. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or according to our privacy policy.

We will own the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in entries submitted to this prize draw. By entering, you irrevocably assign all rights to us.

Entry to the prize draw is free and no purchase is necessary.

Gift Card Prize Details

The prize is a £20 (or $25) gift card for a fabric store of the winner’s choosing.

Miss J Sews will purchase the gift card directly from the selected store and send it digitally or by post, depending on availability.

If the selected store only offers gift cards at a lower denomination (e.g., £15 or $20), the winner acknowledges and accepts that Miss J Sews will provide the nearest available value and will not cover any shortfall.

Suggested retailers may be offered for convenience, but we do not endorse or accept responsibility for their service, stock, or terms of sale. All concerns about redemption should be directed to the store.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This prize draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By entering, participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

International Participation

Participants from outside the UK — including but not limited to the USA, Canada, and Australia — are welcome to enter.

However, all entries are subject to these terms and it is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure compliance with their local laws.

Prizes will be issued in GBP (£) or USD ($), and delivery method may vary depending on location and retailer.

Platform Disclaimer (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

By entering, participants completely and irrevocably release Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and all associated platforms from any liability related to this draw.
